This face recognition software is provided by Dell but it is present only in high level models of Dell but HP provides it in all the laptop models, so is this face recognition software alone costs $100-$120? This question is obvious among all the users. Weight is around 5.1 Pounds while Mac book pro with almost the same features weighs comparatively less then X1340. Data Transfer rate is quite good and a four-pin FireWire port is present along with an eSATA port which makes data transfer at a fast rate. If a comparison is made between other laptop models from other manufacturers X1340 is bit costly than others i.e. $100-$120 can be saved if other laptop manufacturers are chosen.
