Roulette is a casino and gambling game. It is a French word which translates to “little wheel” in English. The game requires players to place bets on either: a number; a range of numbers; whether the number is even or odd; or between the colours red or black. The dealer will then sweep away all other losing bets either by hand or rake, and determine all of the payouts to the remaining inside and outside winning bets. Once the dealer is finished calculating and making the payouts, the dolly is removed from the board where players collect their winnings and make new bets while the winning chips remain on the board.
